Primary Duties:

• Greeting customers as they enter the store
• Creating invoices in QuickBooks and checking out customers
• Helping customers load plants and soil as needed
• Provide customers with information on selection and availability of various plants and trees
• Answering phone, email and integrated communication platforms as needed
• Communicate issues that arise to management
• Price and create displays of merchandise

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• When helping customers time may need to be spent outdoors which may involve exposure to hot or cold temperatures. Otherwise, most time will be spent inside.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 18 or older
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must have reliable transportation

Desired qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• General knowledge of trees and plants, horticultural or arboricultural background preferred
• QuickBooks experience
• Texas Certified Nursery Professional Certification
